Hello! I'm Cristopher Mora Rubio, but Cris is good. As a first-generation student, I have long had a passion for access not only to education but to all resources that will help those in need. My passion for providing resources to the needy led to me pursuing my degree in Public Health! Along with my lived experiences, I also bring years of experience in the public health sector through volunteering, internships, and paid positions. My journey has been defined by my dedication to service, and I'm excited to connect with like-minded professionals who share the same enthusiasm for public health.My career began with a strong foundation in free public clinics, where I learned multiple skills that span beyond the purely clinical. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with private clinics, free clinics, and prominent non-profit public health organizations such as Planned Parenthood. My expertise lies in outreach and program planning, and I thrive on providing quality care to underserved communities. I'm deeply committed to raising the standards of the underserved communities where I grew up and believe in the power of culturally comprehensive information to properly prepare folks. Although much of my experience comes from program coordinating I also have a passion for research.
