• Assists Sales and Catering Managers• Provide phone coverage• Creating files and miscellaneous filing of files, papers, checks, electronic communicationsetc.• Creating Sales kits and restocking supply area as appropriate• Controlling office supplies and order supplies when necessary• Coordinating maintenance of office equipment• Creating a Daily Event Sheet• Receive all Sales and RFP leads and request, distribute to appropriate Sales Manager asneeded.• Handle all aspects of customer service for assigned groups• Manage client accounts in Delphi – this includes logging all activities with contacts• Work with Catering Manager and Chef to create custom menus when requested by client• Review banquet tickets for accuracy post – event / before forwarding to Accounting for finalprocessing• Meet with clients to detail events• Create menu and pricing proposal for clients• Generate Banquet Event Orders and diagrams for all upcoming events, and assist indistribution to hotel staff. This also includes maintaining and reporting all changes to eventsby generating change forms and distributing them to the appropriate departments.• Create resume reports for all departments for upcoming groups• Generate client billing and house account information for accounting department• Ready Sales Manager for Sales Blitz / Trade Expos such as Booth Decor / Business Card /Brochures• Customize Group Flyers or program ads if necessary• Receive and Log Group and Event Deposits
