I was working with Vythiri Village, A luxury Spa Resort, as General Manager with 114 rooms( 5 jacuzzi cottages and 21 pool Villas) taking care of the operations ,Sales and Marketing.In operations i was responsible for the smooth running of the Resort by adapting to change with a hands-on approach to increase productivity standards and subsequently profits. i was taking care of complaints and suggestions of the guest and implementing the standard operation procedures. Other responsibilities involve Designing and Implementing Operational budgets and Budgetary Controls, Planning and Coordinating Procurement with inputs from various stakeholders, Upkeepand Maintenance of Company Assets, Inventory Controls, Asset tracking, Liaising with Statutory Bodies, through designated personals and also Systematic Reporting to the Top ManagementIn Sales and marketing my prime responsibility was to promote vythiri village with innovative marketing strategies and promotions to up lift the sales which resulted in almost 200% increase in occupancy levels over 3 years .
