I am an Academic Support Provider at Vallejo City Unified School District, where I manage support systems for students experiencing challenges in academics, behavior, and attendance. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from California State University-Sacramento, and I have developed strong technical and communication skills through my education and work experience.In my current role, I plan and coordinate Student Success Team meetings with relevant stakeholders, create intervention plans for success for students, and track goals established from these meetings. I also implement restorative practices and circles amongst students to resolve conflicts and repair relationships. Additionally, I collaborate with staff to identify and connect students in need of resources such as transportation, food aid, and mental health services. Prior to this, I worked as a Site Technical Support Specialist, where I performed setup, configuration, and installation of computers, peripherals, and applications software and hardware for users, and provided specialized user support services. I am passionate about helping students overcome barriers and achieve their potential, and I value working with a diverse and supportive team. I believe I can bring my technical and communication skills, along with my experience in academic support and technical support, to contribute to the mission and vision of your organization.
