Over 24 years of strong experience in Logistics Supply Chain Solutions:- Coordination of project cargoes (breakbulk shipments);- Knowledge of Brazil Customs legislation and demands for international trade, as well as strong experience in Brazil Customs systems (Mercante, Siscarga, Mantra);- Creation, issuance and analysis of international shipping documents - invoices, packing lists, ocean and air Bills of Lading (Master/House), Cargo Manifest - all in order to fulfill local requirements and avoid penalties for cargo clearance and brokerage process in Brazil;- Strong experience in ocean operations, including the coordination of the entire shipping process with shippers and suppliers, pick-up arrangements, documentation checking, fulfilling deadlines;- Handling of airfreight shipments from the inicial coordination with shipper to the final delivery of the cargo at customer's door; - Knowledge of both airfreight modalities: formal imports (usually for larger cargoes) and international courier shipments, which require formal Customs clearance at destination.- Understanding of the DTA process (domestic bonded trucking) and what it takes to have the shipments going smoothly to consignee's closest hub.- Payment, control and coordination of demurrage/detention invoices.- Solid experience in leadership of multidisciplinary teams;- Pricing Experience: Chasing of alternative carriers, routings, transit times and multimodals in search for the most competitive rates and service options.- Experience of living abroad in the United States.- International trips visiting customers and branch offices in Scotland, Germany and Norway.- My department recently won an award from the Airfreight Authority in Brazil – INFRAERO. The award is called PIEL (Prêmio de Eficiência Logística) which awards the companies (importer and its respective freight forwarders) which showed the fastest performance in the import Customs clearance process.
