I started working as an accounting assistant last Nov 2019. During the pandemic, I had doubted myself and felt like I’m not contributing in the company’s goals. This is when I started asking my manager if I could help my other team members or if there are other things I could do to help the department. My manager exposed me to internal audit and disbursement process and I acquired a lot of new skills since then. I will be forever grateful to this plot twist. 2020 is a very challenging year for most of us, but it gave me a lot of lessons and experiences.
