Serve as Cisco Identity Services Engine AdministratorCollaborate with multiple IT teams on evaluating IT systems and technologies in regards to supporting healthcare.Work with and supervise vendors such as AT&T and BergElectric in regards to campus access and maintenance of cabling infrastructure.Work with contractors and vendors on infrastructure projects such as cabling (CAT6, Fiber) and wireless devices. Participate in a On-Call rotation with other network staff supporting 24/7 operations such as operating rooms, emergency rooms, and neonatal intensive care units. Create and maintain network documentation using Microsoft services such as Word, Visio, and Sharepoint.Create network documentation of network architecture.Cable management and documentation of campus IDFs.Participate in team building exercises with multiple IT teams.Facilitate learning sessions with multiple IT teams.

Monitor network traffic using network monitoring tools such as Splunk and PTRG.Implement layer 2 LAN switching technologies VLANs, 802.1Q, STP, etherchannel, port security, POE. Implement layer 3 routing technologies, DHCP, OSPF. Configure, verify, and troubleshoot IPv4 addressing and subnetting.Manage 600+ Cisco Catalyst 3750 and Alcatel switch stacks.Manage Cisco and Alcatel routers. Implement and troubleshoot 802.11ac (MIMO) Aruba access points.Use sniffing tools such as wireshark to monitor, isolate, and troubleshoot network traffic. Lead, train, and supervise techs on campus projects and assignments.Coordinate with all university departments. colleges, and remote sites on completing projects such as network upgrades and installations.
