Crispin is an experienced and innovative leader in the PE secondaries market. Of 25 years in private equity, he has spent over 15 years in secondaries including almost a decade as a Partner at Coller Capital. With a deep background in analytics and risk management, Crispin also has a strong track record in fund-raising, deal-sourcing and execution, with a particular focus on the more complex and innovative direct and GP-led transactions. Crispin is a keen proponent of principled investment, playing a lead role in developing ESG as an investment consideration in the secondaries market.More recently, Crispin has developed a strong finance and operational experience base, responsible for finance and operations for a biotech fund and its adviser. He is responsible for financial and management reporting, HR, legal, IT, compliance and all other aspects of operations for a broad based financial services operation, building on experience gained leading fund raising and operations for an early stage electronics manufacturer.Crispin has successfully led new business development, built strong and cohesive teams and driven positive business change at three very different organisations, supported by new technology enabling teams to communicate and share information. Crispin’s leadership style is very people orientated, with significant personal investment in guidance and development.Crispin is a hands-on father of two and his Francophile family splits its time between the UK and France. He is has recently returned to competitive rowing and is a keen scuba diver.
