I'm a researcher at heart, a teacher by choice, and constantly on the lookout for new opportunities.I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Biology from the University of the Philippines (Baguio) and De La Salle University, respectively. My 5-year research experience includes functional genomic studies that examine the molecular response of organisms, particularly aquaculture species, to different environmental stimuli such as thermal stress. Currently, I am working as a full-time faculty member in the Department of Biological Sciences, University of Santo Tomas.Outside of my professional life, I enjoy exploring the outdoors, and I aim to expand my analytical, creative, and writing skills beyond the realms of science.
