When going through challenging times, it helps to have something to anchor us and help us feel grounded.⚓Anchor Health has become that for many of our patients and their loved ones as they navigate their palliative or hospice care journey.We are committed to working with both the patient and their physician to create an individualized care plan to meet the goals and needs of both the patient and family.We achieve this in several ways including:*Maintaining small nurse-to-patient ratios to allow our nurse case managers to have sufficient bedside time with patients and allow for education and training to the patients care team. *Consultation, assessment, treatment planning, and hands-on teaching by licensed clinicians.*The implementation of comprehensive pain management strategies. *The utilization of non-pharmacological interventions through the use of Virtual Reality and Music Therapy.I am committed to improving access to services and educating members on operational excellence. It is a changing time in our industry, we need to advocate and defend our industry’s purpose while ensuring our long-term viability.I am a board member of California Hospice and Palliative Care Association CHAPCA. My anchor is lowered and I will remain dedicated to patients, employees and communities of which I serve.
