After years of working as an engineer and providing consulting services to airlines, I realized a common challenge: the vast amount of untapped data in aviation. This inspired me to create AeroInsights-AI, a tool designed to empower airlines to better utilize their data and enhance operational efficiency. Drawing on my experience, the goal was to bridge the gap between technical knowledge and data-driven decision-making, ultimately helping airlines optimize performance and streamline their maintenance processes.

Compliance Verification Engineer in the field of EASA Part 21 Subpart J - DOA Systems

Design Engineer function in Approved Design Organization (ADO) of Cargolux Airlines:Initiate design activity, identify the design requirements and establish affected CS items and environmental protection requirements if any. Decide on the method of compliance. Perform all the required analysis to show compliance with CS and other requirements.Complete the change / repair Classification Report.Compilation of design data meeting the change / repair and CS requirements and prepare approval document.Maintain safety of aircraft mechanical systems installed on Cargolux fleet of airplanes by:Review of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) originated Airworthiness Directives (AD), FAA Orders, SFAR, Mandated tasks specified by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), mandated tasks specified by the Direction de l’Aviation Civil Luxembourgeoise (DACL), affecting mechanical systems and initiating actions to ensure compliance with their respective requirements.Maintain dispatch reliability of the mechanical systems by: Review of the reliability report, delays and cancellations, pilots reports and identifying areas of concern and initiating actions to improve reliability.Review of OEM issued Service Bulletin (SB), Service letter (SL), etc. and initiating actions for the incorporation of modifications or inspection to improve reliability.Constant review of performance parameters and system monitoring data and initiating action to prevent service disruptions.Review of the shop visit reports and initiating action to improve reliability through preventive maintenance actions or modification actions.Maintain cost effectiveness in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of the mechanical systems and associated components.Support mechanical system related maintenance and production activities such as inspection, modification, repair etc. of CLX and customer fleet.

Production & Acceptance focal at the Boeing Factory in Everett for the production and delivery of 747-8 freighter for Cargolux- Interface between Cargolux Airlines Mainbase & The Boeing Company- Aircraft production quality inspections- Negotiation of warranty terms for non-conformances- Support to contracts and fleet planning department- Technical follow-up after in-service introduction

Led six-month project to optimize fleet maintenance schedule and operations for Condor following its spin-out from Lufthansa. Reported to Planning Department Manager (daily) and CEO of Condor Technik (monthly). Charged with developing new maintenance schedule according to specific requirements and constraints (e.g. hangar capacity, fleet utilization, manpower availability) fulfilling both Condor Airlines and regulatory requirements.• Assessed current maintenance schedule and operations process by evaluating internal documents and records and interviewing senior mechanics, engineers and the CEO • Developed new maintenance schedule and operations process based on analysis of industry best practices and staff interviews• Deliverables: Created PowerPoint presentation for CEO to present to senior management of Condor Airlines; prepared 80-page report (subsequently submitted to FH Aachen University as diploma thesis)• Results: Recommendations partially adopted by Condor Airlines senior management, with further implementation expected. Efficiency of A-Check (key maintenance check process) improved from 76% to 94%, resulting in 23 fewer checks annually (a significant cost savings)
