Country Chartered Accountant for all Italian entities at UK ASSC (Accounting Shared Service Center) - Huntsman Corporation.Responsibilities:Apply Italian compliance requirements of legal entities to meet the regulatory standards and to achieve legal and corporate compliance including US GAAP for a NYSE Listed Company.• Direct responsible for several Italian Entities of the group. Turnover bigger than 200M Euros;• To liaise with Site Accountant, Treasury, AP, Credit, Customer Service to ensure all the processes are correct;• To support the external audit legal entities and liaise with auditors to agree deadlines and PBC List.• Fully responsible for the preparation of the Statutory Account (Bilancio, Nota Integrativa, Relazione sulla Gestione) in local GAAP and reconciliation with USGAAP.• Ensure all work performed is delivered on time as directed by the Manager to ensure the ASSC meet both Business and Huntsman Corporate requirements as laid out in the group reporting timetable;• Month-end Activities: IC Reconciliations, Stock Reconciliation, Vat Settlement, Revaluation, Regrouping; Monthly US GAAP Reporting, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, control of Financial Accounting Processes;• Vat Refund Management: collection of relevant documents and direct relation with Fiscal Authority, • FX Forecast to inform Treasury Team about the amount to hedge; Cash Flow Forecast;• To Process monthly INTRASTAT, Spesometro, Vat Licenses (Dichiarazioni d’intento), Vat Plafond management;• Tax and Vat Return Filling, monitoring tax payment, income Tax calculation and submission;• Involved in different projects such as: acquisition of new businesses (accounting treatment and tax/legal assistance), setting new big investment on the accounting system (leasing and financial lease) with all the consequent implication on both ledger (US GAAP and Italian GAAP), spin-off (accounting treatment and tax/legal assistance);• All the activities are always conducted compliant with SOX
