As Manager, my role involved successfully delivering project-based work according to customer requirements and, upon completion, providing on-going support. Projects have included:· Office relocations and renovations (liaising with business owners, suppliers and building project managers).· Consolidating servers by using Virtualization. Mostly Hyper V but in 2010 I did successfully re-configure the whole VMWare System for a school. This involved preparing a rollback plan, re-configuring the SAN, upgrading ESx, upgrading AD from 2000 to 2008, deploying Exchange 2007 (migrated from outsourced POP3).· On-Premises Exchange migrations (2003, 2007, 2010).· Various methods of SBS Migrations (i.e. Swing, upgrade, etc.).· SBS to Server 2012/ Office 365 Migrations (hybrid solutions).· On-Premises Exchange to Office 365· ADSL to NBN/ Ethernet Broadband migrations: liaising with suppliers, managing DNS records, upgrading phone systems, etc.· Maintaining up to date IT documentation for all clients. · Providing on-site and remote support to clients and other technicians.Other roles include:· Being the primary point of contact for all IT matters – a bridge between end user and various third party application providers. Progressed from trainee, through to Senior technician, Assistant Supervisor (Melbourne CBD) and then Digital Support Group Specialist. In this last role, I acted as the last escalation point in the state for issues related to MFD Integrations as well as supporting our customer's IT staff with deployments and troubleshooting.Multifunction device integration with customer's computer network.Customers varied from small businesses to large multinationals, sporting bodies to government networks.
