Through story telling and design JUNTOSpdx curates one-of-a-kind community experiences that connect, inspire, and celebrate Latino culture. Each event highlights a unique pillar—art, storytelling, music/dance, and food—showcasing the depth of talent, diversity, and resilience within the Latino community.

-Responsible for all aspects of color selection and usage, trims, treatments and finishes, and final aesthetics in collaboration with footwear design and development-Research and delivered color, textile, and lifestyle trends that influence and impact the product category process from product briefing to product concept to salesman samples-Collaborate with team members to curate mood boards, fostering a shared understanding of color concepts and inspiring collaborative creativity -Incorporate insights from consumer preferences, market analysis, and cultural influences to ensure seasonal palettes align with design direction, and resonate with target audience

-Conduct extensive market research to identify emerging trends and consumer preferences to develop seasonal color palettes & material strategies to ensure brand messaging and visual aesthetics were consistent, compelling, and engaging through footwear and apparel-Demonstrate a keen eye for identifying emerging color trends and translating them into actionable design choices.-Ensured design projects were completed on time and to the highest quality, demonstrating a strong commitment to accuracy and attention to detail-Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to incorporate color and material trend research into the creative process

-Construct a seasonal category-specific direction of Color & Materials that reflect brand ethos philosophy-Built and execute textile solutions that best plunge design product to it’s full functional potential-Proactively collaborated with apparel and footwear design team to help provide best design solution practices-Responsible for creating relevant mood boards, color palettes, and color direction to cohesively align with footwear and apparel

Under Dwayne Edwards & Suzette Henry's teachings/guidance, I completed a Summer Footwear Design & Color Material Design internship course program. These accelerated programs are designed to prepare alumni's with the knowledge required to become professional footwear designers.
