I design hardware and software of embedded System, mainly for the HVAC market.I have extended experience in Atmel AVR Series, which I used in many product (all products of SETECNA was designed by me; i.e. Indoor Temperature and Humidity sensors, TFT Touch Panel, Programmable Controllers for HVAC).I have experience in Hw and Sw design with ARM Microcontrollers (ARM7 and Cortex M4).At time of writing (03/2018) I'm developing a new HVAC platform based on dual core (M4/M0) Cortex; I developed both hardware, pcb layout and software design; this new platform has Wifi Connectivity (ESP8266), TFT touch screen and Opentherm Interface on board; I used FreeRTOS and emWin library to develop firmware.I have deep knowledge of procotols used in Boiler Control and HVAC, such as OpenTherm and ModBUS.I do pcb layout of my design using Eagle PCB Cad.Some interesting projects I developed in the past:Software for Motion Controller of 180cm telescope "Copernico" at Asiago observatory of INAF (Instituto Nazionale di Astro Fisica); developed on industrial PC platform, programming in C++ on Xenomai, a real-time flavour of Linux.Firmware for ultra fast and ultra accurate sinusoidal quadrature encoder interface, able to detect millions of step per revolution; developed on a TI DSP, using CAN protocol for delivery of measures; used as buiding block for a high precision mechanical measurement instrument.I'm fluent in C, C++, VB.NET and SQL.I have some experience in PHP programming (both "raw" and using Laravel PHP Framework).Using SQL (PostgreSQL) and PHP (with Laravel framework) I developed the cloud remote monitoring site for all board produced by my company.
