In Mobiversal I was the CTO & Tech Lead for 15+ developers. We work in small teams and we develop mainly mobile apps for iOS and Android, as well as web apps and backends. Depending on the project, my responsibilities overlapped with some of the following: Lead developer, Software architect, Project manager, Product manager, Scalability architect or consultant (DevOps), Account manager, Customer relationship & QA. Since 2018 I have switched to working as full-time CTO for one of our spinoff products, Appointfix.

Acquired by Universe Software in 2021.My responsibilities as a CTO included:* Coordinate the development team to ensure smooth communication, understanding of requirements and UX design, agile development and testing, all leading to a top quality product used by over 100k small businesses* Mentor new team members to help them integrate quickly with the existing team* Design the high-level architecture, database structure and communication between backend, frontend and different components of our applications.* Discover and research new technologies and components for all the platforms and direct our development team to implement them while following technical standards.* Hands-on development of the backend (Java, Spring, JPA, SQL) and in smaller amount the web frontend (Javascript), Android (Java, Kotlin) and iOS (Swift, ObjC) code* Write technical specifications for new features and technical documentation for APIs and databases.* Manage the deployment and publishing of the apps on the servers and mobile app stores, after validating that the applications successfully went through the development and testing process.* Code reviews at different steps in the development flow to ensure that all the code that goes into production is checked by at least one person different from the one who developed it.* Manage and configure the backend environment and handle scalability - using Linux, Java, MySQL, Cassandra, Redis, Nginx and other technologies.* Setup and manage Git repositories for all the paltforms - backend, iOS, Android, web front-end, web admin area, and additional code components.

Conduct training courses for people who want to start a developer career in the IT industry. Topics include Java, OOP, Design Patterns, SQL, and the Spring Framework.Assist students in the development of a working web application prototype using Java and Spring.
