Taking the leap to make a career change more than ten years ago from the corporate world to education has been the most rewarding risk I have ever taken. It taught me that when you value learning, teamwork, creativity, and have a drive to succeed you will make a difference in any organization. My experiences beyond the classroom always bring me back to my first career, my first passion of business management, marketing and sales. Most recently, as the co-owner of Home Ec Interiors LLC I am responsible for the business plan creation and management of a boutique interior design studio. Through my excellent interpersonal skills and brand creation Home Ec is trusted by our design clients. My ability to communicate in Spanish and English has provided a multitude of opportunities and equipped me for a diverse and global marketplace.
