In my practice at Evolve and Bloom I put the client at the center of his/her own care, as I help guide her/him on a journey toward achieving the set goals. I assist clients ranging from diabetes, digestive complications, cancer, eating disorders, depression while using a Health at Every Size (HAES®), weight-neutral, non-diet approach. I am passionate about helping people develop a positive relationship with body, food, and movement, seeing beyond guilt, shame, and regret with eating.

- Experience in stroke, continued complex care, medicine, and palliative units over the 3+ years of employment- Screened a daily caseload of 112 patients to prioritize and complete comprehensive nutrition assessments and monitor nutrition care plans for alternate level care, complex care and rehabilitation, medicine, and stroke units.- Participated in ongoing quality and safety improvement activities for the food service department by communicating 10-15 diet-related errors daily to food service and Mackenzie Health management and staff to collaboratively problem solve. Prompted foodservice staff and management to investigate all issues and alter the systems to prevent errors. - Advised and consult interdisciplinary team members, families, and patients about the recommended nutritional care plan, implementation, and patient progress.
