I started my academic studies at Faculty of Mathematics in Bucharest in 1998 and after two years I gave up scientific studies changing them with visual arts studies. I graduated in 2004 from the National University of Art in Bucharest, following in 2007 a Master degree at the Art Academy in Bergen, Norway. Video, installation, performative lectures and interventions are the mediums I predominantly use. Since 2010 I returned to my first love, mathematics, and to a more broad investigation of the field of science, looking for various strategies to combine art practice with the study of abstract or concrete scientific notions. Recently I returned to academic learning, enrolling in an MFA program at Faculty of Geography, University of Bucharest- Environmental Studies. My artistic practice mix sometimes reality with fiction and I use storytelling to underline with humor and sometimes self-irony living facts.
