I am a Senior Project Manager at the University of Alicante's Institutional Project Management Office (OGPI), coordinating and working on a series of EU-funded international projects (through the Erasmus+ CBHE programme, and previously through TEMPUS, ACP/Edulink II, FP-7 and Horizon 2020 programmes). I have worked with partners from around Europe, Central Asia, Southeast Asia, Africa and Latinamerica. I am responsible for project management, organising and delivering training workshops and other events, preparation of reports and dissemination of project activities and results.I have a Master's Degree in Project Management, although my original educational background is in Biology (B.Sc.) and Oceanography (M.Sc.), with research experience in ecotoxicology and in plankton ecology. In this framework I have participated in oceanographic cruises in Antarctica and the North Sea and have published scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals and presented results at international conferences. I also have experience in Environmental Education as well as in teaching Biology and English as a Foreign Language. In the past I have been in charge of selecting and managing volunteers for a series of international scientific conferences and participated in the organisation of said conferences.I have an international background and can adapt well to different cultural environments. In addition to this I am perfectly trilingual (English, French, Spanish) and am always up to the challenge of learning another language.
