My job is to assist people and companies in achieving their potential: when we look at a map full of dots, or at the blue sky, we feel great emotions because behind these symbols we see the realisation of our projects, dreams or desires. At KraftJacobSuchard, performance was mainly product performance. I was responsible for reading between the numbers the results of marketing campaigns, the variability of the 'pork market', the purchasing power of the large-scale retail trade, the productivity efforts of the factory. People were not my concern, the brand and the product were the real players in this business. In GFT (ex Sapient, ex Sempla) I experienced the leadership of the person. In IT companies, people are the key to success. Losing a Talent means losing his experience, his knowledge and his relationships. I experienced as Controlling Manager first and as HR Manager later, 3 merger processes migrating the "new" into the "old" or spreading the best practices of the "old" into the "new". The biggest difficulty is to create a new perspective to complement the existing one: to integrate your vision into the people's picture so that they make it their own. Today I deal with HR processes and in particular with how HR can create value, for business and people, through participatory dynamics, linked to continuous improvement, communication and goal setting, the creation of fluid roles, and the design of flexible organisations. With clients, I look for motivations, not being satisfied with the first answers and looking for a deeper understanding of the problems, to join the dots on the map and the stars in the sky, to see the way and to bring out the design of the goals of people and companies. IT tools are accelerators because they allow us to collect data in a short time and disseminate information: but the real challenge is played out on the table of motivation and co-creation."If there is a friendly relationship between human beings who share a project, things will work better.
