“I sell wine around the world” is the short answer to the question “WHAT do you do”, let’s say it's 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑙𝑎𝑏𝑒𝑙.The answers to the questions WHY and HOW are the core and the essence of my job, let’s say it's 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑙𝑖𝑞𝑢𝑖𝑑 𝑖𝑛𝑠𝑖𝑑𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑏𝑜𝑡𝑡𝑙𝑒.𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓?- I sell wines around the world (told you! 😉)𝐖𝐇𝐘?𝑇ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒’𝑠 𝑡𝑜𝑜 𝑚𝑢𝑐ℎ 𝑏𝑒𝑎𝑢𝑡𝑦 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑤𝑖𝑛𝑒 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑙𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑖𝑡 𝑢𝑛𝑑𝑖𝑠𝑐𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑑.Also, my personal story has much to do with this.- I was born and raised in the Langhe area, in Piedmont, my parents were vine-growers: rolling hills of combed vineyards were the norm, but I was curious and wanted to see more of the world. - I studied foreign languages and lived abroad for a while, and when I came back I could finally see all the beauty and the richness not only of my place of birth, but of the whole wine world. - Wine and foreign languages slowly but steadily brought me to become a Wine Export Manager.- From being a Wine Export Manager, I chose to become a SHARED Wine Export Manager to bring my experience to more people and continue with those who understand that sharing means multiplying more than dividing.𝐇𝐎𝐖?S͟e͟l͟e͟c͟t͟i͟o͟n͟: - I chose wineries for their people in the first place. Regardless of the size of the winery, the improvement attitude is a common denominator.- I speak to the people of the winery, listen to their story, taste the wines (of course) and ask about how they do what they do and bring my experience to improve what can be improved.Q͟u͟a͟l͟i͟t͟y͟:͟- Markets are becoming more and more competitive, there’s simply no room for wines that are not good to excellent.
