I’m a designer, photographer, illustrator and stylist with a love for art and all things beautiful. I’m the founder and Creative Director of Cristina Re the brand, a luxury homeware, stationery & lifestyle business with a 25 year heritage selling in prestige department stores, 5 star hotels and boutiques worldwide. Influenced by my European heritage, I have a crazy Italian passion to constantly create artistry and innovation, mixing classic with contemporary, infusing decorative pattern with hand illustration. I believe in creating pieces that are timeless, ultra feminine, luxe, modern. Less is never more, beauty & bling is definitely my thing. I’m a Leo with Pisces rising, a constant dreamer, manifestor and visionary, driven to empower and inspire. Every day is my opportunity to make magical moments, encourage self care, inspire self worth. I like to unabashedly call myself ‘a woman of firsts' being the first female wedding photographer in Australia, pioneering the first DIY stationery concept (a highly successful craft business that has sold billions of sheets of papers), and creating the first of its kind high tea boutique in Australia (and dare I say the world).. Sex and the City and my Paris travels inspired my vision to create extraordinary experiences through the ritual of tea drinking in 2000 – I launched Where a Girl Goes Tea salon so that my girlfriends and I had an excuse to indulge in good food, fashion and all things feminine in Parisian style. Celebration, connection and of course creativity, became the pillars of the brand as it evolved from stationery to our extensive designer high tea & lifestyle ranges over the years.Solid lasting relationships with key majors include David Jones, Officeworks and Costco to name a few allowed the brand to shine. Achievements include collabs with Disney, Decjuba, Bergdorf Goodman. Being a speaker and ambassador for luxury hotels around the world gives me the greatest sugar high, hosting high tea workshops to hundreds of women sipping out of our stylish teacups. Partnerships with endless women’s charities and our 3PL social enterprise partner makes me feel good and gives me purpose. Remembering to live with gratitude, curiosity and wonder is my daily motto in my crazy amazing business journey. Working with a like minded tribe of people and businesses are my drivers, aligning my values and embracing opportunities that come my way to creating and inspiring what the world really needs right now… a whole lot of self love, empowerment and stylish décor just because.
