As a seasoned Employee Benefits Consultant with over 25 years of experience, I specialize in designing and implementing comprehensive employee benefits packages tailored to meet the unique needs of clients of all sizes and funding mechanisms. My journey in the industry began with Community Health Plan (CHP), where I advanced from a Sales Executive of Individual Products to Sales Executive for Employer Group Plans following the merger with Kaiser Permanente and takeover by Capital District Physicians’ Health Plan (CDPHP).In 1999, I transitioned to a broker representative role at a local insurance agency, where I honed my skills in employee benefits consulting. In July 2017, I joined a local Employee Benefits company as the Employee Benefit Specialist Team Leader, collaborating with clients to build and refine their employee benefit programs. My extensive experience includes working with various medical funding arrangements, including fully insured community-rated, experience-rated, and self-funded plans.Currently, I serve as Vice President, Business Development at Risk Strategies. In this role, I provide strategic advice and guidance to growing businesses, ensuring they offer competitive benefits plans, quality service, and robust partnerships. My expertise encompasses navigating complex regulatory landscapes, account management, benefit plan marketing, analysis, and technology assessment/integration.I am committed to staying abreast of industry trends and continuously advancing my knowledge through ongoing education.
