Cristin D. Smith is a serial Entrepreneur with her current focus on disrupting the healthcare industry. Smith started her career in the Financial & Insurance Services Industry after being recruited right after graduating high school. After having excelled as a top producer, manager, and the V.P. of Sales & Marketing for other firms, Cristin co-founded a boutique brokerage house. Her success and passion lead her into community development and social enterprise. After years of community work and running her own business she relocated to Mexico for a six-month sabbatical. During this time Smith battled a health crisis which led Cristin to seek out holistic health care providers, non-toxic products, therapeutic practices and healing places. This grew into the social enterprise she runs today, Saffron & Sage. As Saffron & Sage was unfolding Cristin began her journey to become a Spiritual Director with Loyola Marymount University. Later going on to become trained as a 3rd Degree Reiki Practitioner and Breathwork Instructor. Cristin currently serves as Saffron & Sage's CEO overseeing their three current verticals; healthcare clinic, corporate offerings (whose roster includes clients like Google and Lululemon), CPG (with products that range from holistic skincare to herbal teas). When she isn't at the office you will find Cristin working with the clinic's patients in her capacity of a Coach and Spiritual Director holding space for individuals to explore their sacred pilgrimage, pressing into their pain while cultivating deeper discernment. Both in individual sessions and orchestrating the methodology that supports Saffron & Sage's holistic healthcare offerings Cristin is focused around incorporating ancient traditions with modern medicine bringing balance to the mind, body and spirit. Cristin has been featured in numerous publications from Forbes to Modern Luxury Magazine. Recently named Top 22 most Influential Leaders in San Diego and Top 40 under 40 by San Diego Business Journal.
