Senior Ecm (Livelink) Consultant
Mosaic is the world’s largest supplier of Phosphate and Potash and was formed in 2004 as a result of a merger. I joined the Mosaic ECM team to assist with integrating differing electronic document management systems. My initial efforts were focused document and metadata analysis. I then worked with import and developed search utilities. Once the bulk of the documentation had been imported, I started working with various different groups coalesce differing document review and approval processes. As ECM became more widely adopted within Mosaic, more internal groups recognized the potential for ECM Workflow. As of Dec 2016, I have completed over 25 workflow projects that improve efficiency in areas of finance, operations and vendor management. Projects that I lead include:• Controlled Document Workflow for ISO Certification used by 54 locations around the workflow. The solution involved multiple Workflows and Sub-Workflows, WebForms, LiveReports, XSLT skinned search results, GCI Powertools, and Oscript. Over 3,000 approval requests were completed in the first 6 months, with over 56,400 workflows completed as of Dec 2016.• Enterprise wide capital request finance approval process used for Mosaic locations around the world. The solution involved multiple Workflows and Sub-Workflows, WebForms, LiveReports and Custom Reports using HTML with DBLookup functions, and Oscript customizations. Over 100 approval requests were completed in the first 6 months, with over 10,000 workflows completed as of Dec 2016.• Board Materials request, approval and presentation process used by paralegals and presenters. The solution involved multiple Workflows, WebForms, and a custom Oscript review screen. This high visibility solution is also highly permissions sensitive, and has been used for all Board Meetings since Dec 2011. The solution was so well received, it was copied and implemented for use by various other executive teams within Mosaic.
Independent Content Server (Livelink) Consultant
ULA is a joint venture between Lockheed Martin and The Boeing Company formed in 2006 to provide access to space for U.S. government missions. Previous to the joint venture, Lockheed Martin made extensive use of Opentext ECM while The Boeing Company used SharePoint. I joined the ULA team to provide the technical expertise for this start up venture. While each company had prior policies and procedures, the joint venture required them to assimilate and define new processes for their documentation, security approaches, and migrate to new methods.Some specific projects I was involved with include:• Installed and configured new Opentext ECM (Livelink) cluster implementation architected to handle with over 2T of data. This included installing and configuring SharePoint integration tools. Worked with Systems Administrators and DBAs to tune resources for improved performance.• Developed tools and facilitated migration of over 1T of documentation from legacy applications. • Developed tools to monitor growth for planning and system performance management.• Worked with business users to architect, develop and implement solutions enabling collaboration between users, customers and suppliers. This included developing, implementing and training on complex permissions modeling, workflows for document review approval processes, and eLink notifications.• Defined policies and procedures for electronic documentation use in Livelink verses SharePoint• Developed IT Security Workflow for providing and auditing system access requests
Senior Livelink Consultant
Work with clients to architect and develop Livelink solutions based on the clients specific business needs. This includes evaluating requirements and working collaboratively with customers to design solutions that fit the business needs and are maintainable, upgradeable, and user friendly. Design, develop and maintain standard Syntergy product offerings including Workflow Escalation, Workflow Steps, and Bulk Loader. Develop and deliver various Livelink training materials to clients.
