Self taught embroiderer and fiber artist specializing in thread painting, mixed media fiber art, custom work, commissions, digital patterns, and instruction of in-person and online workshops. Author of Hoop Dreams: Modern Hand Embroidery, published in US (2018) and international markets. My work has been featured in popular online and print publications, including: Martha Stewart, The Strategist, Better Homes and Gardens, and Love Embroidery Magazine. I wear all the hats needed to run a small business, including: social media; branding and packaging design; copywriting and product photography; website design; production and fulfillment of custom orders and commissions; pattern illustration and licensing; participation in local craft shows and markets; purchase of all raw materials; bookkeeping; continuing education; etc.

Identified problems in fulfillment and inventory management procedures and implemented new solutions to maximize efficiency and minimize waste. Lead Organizer and Pattern Cutter. Worked closely with company owner to identify and meet production goals and event deadlines through time and project management. Designed, built, and merchandised retail and trade show displays.

Elected Position. Served as the head of RCRD's Merchandise Committee, working to drive sales of branded merchandise to generate direct funding for RCRD. Coordinated 8-10+ volunteer-based committee members. Identified opportunities for new merchandise and curated a selection of goods that represented RCRD as a team and our accompanying values. Worked closely with the Board of Directors to present requests for project and budget approval. Developed new design concepts for apparel and merchandise, maintaining logo and branding specifications. Sourced vendors for new products, prioritizing relationships with local businesses whenever possible in order to increase community engagement. Maintained detailed inventory of in-stock merchandise. Oversaw third party apparel sales via Threadless, working closely with the Marketing Committee to increase sales of available goods. Managed the merchandise table at all RCRD games and community outreach events, including: creating an appealing visual display, maintaining appropriate signage, organizing volunteer staff for full coverage, setup and breakdown. Coordinated donations of past-season merchandise, working with local organizations to maximize donation efforts.

Worked with key clients to plan, source, and deliver promotional products for marketing campaigns and special events. Collaborated with graphic designers and vendors to maintain logo and branding standards across various types of promotional products and printing methods. Coordinated the transport of deliverables, analyzing cost effectiveness and logistics to ensure all deadlines and receiving requirements were met. Wrote and updated product descriptions for client company store websites.
