I studied Civil Engineering in Biotechnology with a specialty in Environment at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.Co-founder of Kaitek Labs, a start-up in biotechnology with the aim of creating an early detection sensor for the red tide. I worked for three years in this venture, going so far as to send an application to patent the project, until before my departure in mid-2016.I did the basic engineering for the creation of a solid waste treatment plant for the company CMPC Laja.I worked in the Superintendence of the Environment (SMA), in the Sanction and Compliance Division, analyzing the cases derived from the Inspection division and determining the sanction corresponding to the breaches of the Companies.At Minera Tres Valles, I work as Head of Sustainability and as Deputy Manager of Sustainability and HS, ensuring the company’s environmental regulatory compliance, preparation of environmental and sectoral permits, developing the relationship with nearby communities and leading the risk prevention team.During my time at Mainstream RP, I generated the KPIs and sustainability reports for the lenders, along with ensuring the correct report in form and deadline to the authorities. I developed the company’s environmental information repository platforms and internal reports, along with web applications to facilitate the loading of information into internal databases.I am currently pursuing a diploma in corporate finance, in order to incorporate the risks associated with environmental and climate change impacts into investment projects.
