Research assistant at the Center for the Education of Women+ (CEW+) My role at this appointment is to design, develop, and execute focus group, and focus group research data, as it pertains to student-parents currently enrolled at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Fellowship consists of the following assignments: Organizing and led student-parent focus groups, contributing to the cultivation of useable and comprehensible research data. Assisting in the compilation of research data which helped shape university policies for student-parents. Engaging in analysis which deciphered and categorized project data. Analyzing and coding research data making information more accessible and interpretable for use in future university policy implementation. Crafting concise and clear protocols, which will be utilized in the collection of focus group derived research data

Research assistant, Masters Research Opportunity Program, assisting Dr. Angela Ebreo in the Diversity Research and Policy Program. In this role I was tasked with the analysis of qualitative research on the effects of virtual learning during the pandemic, which furnished the university with valuable data regarding expected student outcomes in a virtual learning environment. I outlined research questionnaires, that clearly and concisely conveyed project objectives I successfully coded research data, transforming collected information into meaningful and intelligible categories

Established relationships with university organizations; championing the gardens by introducing university student groups to the health benefits of natural spaces.Promoted the gardens and arboretum at university events, creating strong bonds with university organizations that represent underserved and marginalized groups

The bird count project contributed not only new data sets on birds in the area for further academic research, but also furnished birders, and all visitors alike with enhanced knowledge of bird populations in the the Heathdale area of the arboretum.
