Director of the R&D projects promotion area at ITI - Instituto Tecnológico de Informática, in the Strategic and Competitive Intelligence department. MSc. in Computer Science, in Software Engineering & Formal Methods, and PhD in Software Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. 13 years of professional experience covering activities related to applied research as well as innovation consulting in industry, being involved in more than 26 collaborative research and industrial projects, both national and international. My research background covers runtime software evolution & reconfiguration, self-adaptive systems and autonomic computing, model-driven development, software architecture. Research results have been published in 24 papers, such highly-ranked international conferences such as WICSA, CBSE or ICECCS. Research allowed me to understand the principles and technical challenges associated with designing and evolving large, complex software systems in an industry where a multitude of new languages, platforms and ways of doing business keep changing. Since 2014, I'm working at ITI, contributing to technological watch, strategic foresight, and identifying and developing R&D business opportunities. Supporting ITI R&D teams to improve excellence and positioning results in the global market. Specially involved in Industry 4.0 projects and regional DIHs building. I'm an open-minded, organized, flexible, persistent and meditative person, with a high degree of responsibility and creativity for addressing challenges. I like working in a team, actively collaborating and participating in tasks.
