Successfully led the DISH 5G Open RAN network design in South Florida to meet the FCC requirement of 70% of the US population coverage by June 2023, some of the activities done: - 5G RAN Greenfield lead designer for South Florida region using Planet 5G tool- Site selection- Design optimization using Automatic Cell Planning- OPEN RAN Kubernetes design and guidelines optimization proposal- Manage a team of 6 RF Engineers, and 3 major testing vendors (Nokia, TWS, GTA)- Applied coding skills for process automation / Tableau / Google Data Studio / GSuite reporting.- Troubleshooting on 5G OPEN RAN sites with Samsung/Fujitsu vendors- RAN Virtualization, CU/DU dimensioning.- Interoperability testing with the different parties- Standardization and guidelines for solution implementation

Accomplished the design of 5G mmWave small cells in Edina, Richfield, and Bloomington located in Minneapolis and performed 5G C-Band design in the same area, some of the activities included:- 5G mmWave small cells design and Automatic Site Placement design using Atoll.- 5G C-Band designs network modifications for Ericsson Advance Antenna System (AAS) additions.- Network solution planning using FUZE tool- Identifying new 4G capacity solutions- Teamwork with regulatory teams for E911 and EME studies for compliance.- FCC call-sign licenses studies for licensing protection and compliance- 5G4G Dynamic Spectrum Sharing local liaison with national teams and Ericsson vendor.
