• Study specification and drawing thoroughly.• Prepare bill of quantity format and do quantity take – off.• Solicit firm quotations for specialty works from at least three (3) accredited subcontractor• Prepare unit cost analysis• Consolidate and summarize quantities in accordance with BOQ format.• Assist in the preparation of technical tender submittals• Estimates and costing of Variation Orders and Additional Works• Evaluation of Subcontractors billing

• Provides valuable information/updates to the Senior QAFE/QAFE in the preparation of the Weekly Activity Report (WAR)• Validates / verifies data and information on the daily reports with the QA FE.• Provides technical guidance and other information to QA FE to ensure not only accuracy of data and information contained in the reports but also to assist in facilitating QA work on site.• Monitors and follow up status/updates of all the DNC/NCN, RFIs and all other submittal related issues, and urgent matters to concerned personnel arising from construction site activities• Coordinates with the Senior QAFE, QAFE, Regional Lead Engineer and other people or entities within the organization that may have anything to contribute towards the resolution of issues or the improvement of the reports. • Performs other tasks that may be assigned in the exigency of the Service Unit• Ensures the good quality and timeliness of daily and other reports as required by the client

• Study specification and drawing thoroughly.• Study bill of quantity format and do quantity take – off.• Attend pre – bid conferences and conduct site inspections together with Estimate Supervisor.• Canvass materials prices in coordination with Purchasing Department.• Solicit firm quotations for specialty works from at least three (3) accredited subcontractor.• Prepare unit cost analysis based on agreed construction methodology.• Check accuracy of quantity take – off of Jr. Estimators.• Consolidate and summarize quantities in accordance with appropriate BOQ format.• Endorse bill of quantities and unit cost to computer engineer / encoder for direct cost computation.• Assist in the preparation of technical tender submittals.

• Assist Sr. Estimator in the following:• Quantity take – off.• Consolidation of Quantities.• Price Canvassing.• Unit Cost analysis.• Solicitation of quotation from subcontractors.• Preparation of tender submittal forms.• Attend pre – bid meetings, if instructed.• Conduct site inspection, if instructed.• Perform other duties that maybe assigned from time to time.
