We are committed and continue to make sure that all of the needs, of all the citizens, in the City are met. Our main purpose is to save lives, property and ensure the safety of all the Firefighters. It is of the utmost importance that we provide training, equipment, resources and instill confidence in each member of the Loves Park Volunteer Fire Department. The Chief Officers, Officers and firefighters work as a unified team. We maintain all trucks, equipment on the trucks and the fire stations inside and out. We work to make every week of the year fire prevention week.

The CAST Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization that was created in 2010, to Create A Stronger Tomorrow by providing financial assistance to other nonprofit organizations that strengthen our community. CAST Foundation was started by a group of friends looking for a way to make a difference in the lives of others. The foundation has the common belief that the things we accomplish today will make our society stronger tomorrow. In order to accomplish this goal, CAST Foundation donates the proceeds of fundraisers to other nonprofit organizations who share our common goal. Along with being vice president I have also held the positions of apparel director, awards and recognition director, public relations director, and trending director.

The military police officers protect property and lives on US Army and US Military installations state side and abroad by enforcing military laws and regulations, as well as conducting traffic control, the prevention of crime, and responding to emergencies. Military Police Officers are responsible for providing critical support to operations on the battlefield by conducting Area Security, Maneuver and Mobility Support, Internment/Resettlement, Law & Order, Convoy Security, Traffic Control Points, Entry Control Points, Personal Security for VIPs and Police Intelligence Operations. As a NCO in the U.S. Army one of your primary tasks is to train your soldiers in a multitude of tasks. As a team leader, squad leader, and platoon sergeant I have had to train from 3 to 40 soldiers under my direct command. Training duties included coordinating with the Training NCO, conducting hands on training, delegating training missions, preparing training missions, tracking individual training records, supervising training missions; preparing statistical training reports, and preparing and running weapon qualification ranges.

Armed security leads protect and defend company employees and the community. Responsible for conducting inspections, alarm dispatching, report writing, alarm assessments, equipment testing, and in the field decision making. Additional duties include mentoring, hands on training, security risk assessments, establishing and closing security posts, and officer development.

The main mission of armed nuclear security officers is to prevent radiological sabotage and/or the release of radiological material by an insider or armed intruders. The armed security officer controls the entry process of all individuals and vehicles into the protected and vital areas of the plant. Also they conduct patrols and random checks of all vital areas, doors, perimeter systems, and more. The armed security officer also responds to intrusion alarms, detection alarms, and any critical situation.

The casino is a high tempo atmosphere with thousands of guests visiting the casino property daily. Security officers are to provide care, custody, and control of employees, guests and large sums of money. Additional duties and skill sets include interpersonal communication, report writing, radio etiquette, computer skills, CPR, and are proficient in current security standard operating procedures. While working as an emergency medical responder (EMT-B) for the casino, I produced and enacted the standard operating procedure for the emergency medical services at the Grand Victoria Casino.

The primary duties were to maintain and survey all DeKalb Park District parks and other park district owned properties. Additional duties included general repair and upkeep to all park equipment, playground equipment, hydration stations, park district vehicles, and grounds upkeep. Within budgetary guidelines, to purchase equipment and supplies needed to complete assigned tasks.

The primary duties of the security officer are to provide care, custody, and control of the Northern Illinois University Convocation Center, with multiple events from concerts, plays, NIU athletic games, and others. Security officers were tasked with patrolling and monitoring events, staff, and guests ensuring their safety and well being. Security officers needed to be highly vigilant for any suspicious activities and to maintain order and control during all events.

The medical records personnel were tasked with filing and delivering patient charts for all the doctors in the DeKalb Clinic and DeKalb Clinic North. Additional duties included filing of patient paperwork in their perspective charts. Every other Saturday I was tasked with operating the medical records department unaided and with no management oversight.
