A CS Pro looking to transition to a new path in Data Analytics.As a former team manager for a pilot project utilizing AI, algorithms, and smart tech for a music streaming platform, one of my tasks, aside from mentoring and providing support, were extracting and processing data using Tableau, generating reports and doing Pivot in Excel and/or Google Sheet as well as creating dashboards which were used by the team and the management for decision-making. Also, part of my weekly routine was attending business reviews and meetings where we talked a lot about numbers, KPIs, metrics, trends, and crafting measures to address challenges/business and people opportunities. It’s intriguing considering the high turnover rate, but each time we deliver a positive result, it’s satisfying and addicting. I realize then the potential of what people can possibly achieve with just simply analyzing and interpreting data.My fascination for numbers along with my interest in business prompted me to take and finish my BS Entrepreneurial Management and Google Data Analytics courses. And did I mention that I was also a Math major undergrad? Statistics and Business Operations are making a lot of sense to me now that I am pursuing Data Analytics. I want to help businesses thrive and make data-driven decisions especially now that competition has become more exciting due to the rise of AI. Currently, I'm going through the hoops and loops of Power BI and other software tools/connectors for data transformation (from multiple sources) and dataviz.I love exploring places and collecting experiences too. When I am not at home, you’ll probably see me catching sunsets or chasing waterfalls somewhere. Some of my free time are spent with playing around with my dog, managing finances, doing healthcare duties, etc.I can be inferior at times but I love meeting new people and learning from their perspectives and stories. I stay calm when faced with adversities and don’t easily indulge in risky behavior.
