- Conceived and executed a one-year Cardiovascular Technology Certificate program offered through the Department of Medicine, Division of Allied Health Sciences at Indiana University, Purdue University at Indianapolis, IN.- Wrote entire program curriculum and gained approval from the Indiana State Board of Education.- Wrote student handbook, course outlines, process and policy for student selection, and course descriptions for college bulletin.- Acquired classroom and office space to house the program.- Acquired medical equipment (loaned from vendors), classroom equipment (desks/chairs/projector/computer) and program office equipment.- Obtained funding for start-up costs by creating the "Stress Echo Preceptorship", monthly two-day courses for foreign and domestic physicians to teach them how to interpret Stress Echo studies.- Responsible for entire program budget including start-up fund and student tuition.- Member of the School of Allied Health Executive Committee.- Maintained all student transcripts and records.- I was the only faculty member within the School of Medicine and the only Program Director without a graduate degree.- Concurrently held the office of the President of the state Ultrasound Society.
