I have been in the American hardwood business since 1988, acting in an expert/consultative capacity with furniture, flooring and cabinet manufacturers as well as distributors. I spent my early years in the hardwood industry working closely with manufacturers and 22 years with a premier American hardwood sawmill. Over the have given presentations to over 6,000 architects and designers worldwide regarding the use of Sustainable American Hardwoods in Design. A respected authority on the use of American hardwoods in design, I am a university lecturer, and a regular speaker at architectural seminars worldwide.
