RitchEnergy is a start-up tech company based around a revolutionary technology which would lower the cost of solar farms by a large margin, making solar PV the cheapest source of electricity. By utilizing solution processed thin film solar panels continuously printed onto plastic rolls, both the solar panel and solar farm construction costs can be dramatically lowered.

RitchViewer is both a FinTech start-up, with new instant data graphing & analysis software, and a contract based FinTech company which builds custom products on demand for multi-national companies; most recently an automated, and highly sophisticated financial trading system utilizing real-time data for a company in Hong Kong. This role involves software engineering, graphic design, project management, customer relations, and close teamwork.

Participated and led a variety of research projects including theoretical, computational and wet-chemical projects over a range of disciplines.These included:- Industrial and medical dual liquid phase interactions and molecular delivery vehicle design.- Perovskite stability & emission in a range of environments for solar and LED applications.- Super hydrophobic surface interactions and their repulsive forces with temperature & architecture.- Nano-temperature & magnetic sensing using nv-diamonds.- Graphene imperfections & large scale incorporation into devices- Solution processing of nanocrystals for solar photovoltaic devices- Large scale printing of nanoparticle-based inks

Supervision & teaching of students (undergraduate & VCE) in groups of 30 or on an individual basis. This covered a range of topics including chemistry, physics & math focusing on both theory and practical applications of knowledge. Lessons took place in chemistry laboratories, classrooms and private settings depending on the lesson format and number of students.

This position carried many responsibilities ranging from general wet and dry lab management & admin, to maintaining, modifying, repairing and training users on a variety of scientific instruments. Mentored & managed a team of 4 PhD students in the fabrication of low-cost nanoparticle ink based solar cells to incorporate novel transparent conductive electrodes into large scale manufacture.

A collaborative scholarship to explore the large-scale printing of CZTS nanocrystal inks.
