• Provides audiovisual & security design, drafting, & consulting services to businesses and organizations across public and private sectors.

• Responsible for entry level junior engineering tasks & their further education in the AV trade • Troubleshoot & implement fixes for field & design related AV issues • Create schematic diagrams and infrastructure drawings to coordinate with other trades• Develop security equipment designs & specifications, including access control, IT MDFs, IP video management systems, security surveillance, DAS

• Create project design package based on proposals, sales information and initial meetings with clients/architects/builders. • Maintain and update all pertinent project drawings and documentation (i.e. AV plans, wire schedule, equipment specs, elevations, rack drawings, schematics, pull schedules, etc.).• Collaborate with architects / interior designers / electricians / general contractors to seamlessly integrate all AV / IT / network equipment integration without affecting overall design of space. • Communicate design changes due to site condition changes, product availability, client changes, scope changes, etc. to other members of the internal project team. • Create functional and connection-level drawings/design for video, audio, control, LAN and communications subsystems, including preparation of AutoCAD drawings and documentation.• Draft As-Builts for Audiovisual Systems

• Draft & Design Enterprise Level CCTV, Access, Intercom, & IP Video Surveillance systems • Security Drafter & Consultant• Asses client needs & compile security bid packages• Oversee security operations & installations

• Design, install, and repair IP Video Surveillance Systems• Design and install IP Networks; Including: Client- Server, Intranets, and Wireless Access Points• Furnish and repair Digital Video Recorders (Custom Build DVRs, Pelco, Nuvico)• Build custom surveillance Video Servers as per client specifications• Monitor client sites remotely • Troubleshoot all computer hardware/ software issues with clients• Manage and update onsite Local Area Network & CCTVoIP System
