Project manager of the Firm Independence team (8 people). My team was responsible for data quality across all compliance systems, which included the Restricted Entities Database, Personal Connections and Conflicts of Interest checking, as well as the application of UK, US and Deloitte Independence policies. • Led the team which collected, recorded and updated more than 200 corporate family trees of the firm’s listed audit clients. This required buy in from the client facing professionals, and continual training and support of the user population.• Trained a number of team members, two of whom moved over from other parts of the team.• Redesigned our Personal Connections system and the user interface, which received significant praise from users, and influenced subsequent system designs.• Represented the UK practice on a number of working groups for Deloitte globally, including Deloitte’s Global Data Quality Working Group; and presented at the EMEA regional conference. • Co-champion of the Deloitte Community Investment programme. We led fundraising events and activities, as well as assisting in the promotion of programmes such as payroll giving and volunteer opportunities. We also ran two community days.• Team leader in the Deloitte Employability scheme, which provides training sessions in further education colleges such as CV Preparation and presentation skills.

Summer internship - Equity Research Assistant for Support Services and TMT. The highlight of this was writing a report which questioned the viability of Pay Per View (PPV) football on UK Television, two years before the collapse of OnDigital.
