During my time at Forvis, I accumulated extensive experience across various domains:I performed internal and external penetration testing across multiple industries, assessing security measures and identifying vulnerabilities. Additionally, I conducted vulnerability scans and manually validated identified vulnerabilities to ensure accuracy and effectiveness. Using the OWASP framework, I evaluated the security of large externally facing web applications.One of my key responsibilities was leading social engineering campaigns to assist clients in assessing their readiness against phishing attacks. I also configured and managed baseline environments for systems used in penetration testing, ensuring consistency and reliability in testing procedures.Furthermore, I produced proof-of-concept examples and provided remediation guidance for technical vulnerabilities, contributing to the overall improvement of cybersecurity posture. I also conducted Physical Security Assessments to assess readiness against physical attacks and reviewed internal policies and procedures to determine compliance with internal controls and regulatory best practices.In the realm of computer forensics, I performed examinations of computer and mobile devices to extract evidence related to criminal activities. I led incident response investigations for both internal and client engagements, collected devices domestically and onsite for forensic analysis, and utilized advanced data recovery techniques to retrieve files and operating system artifacts.Additionally, I played a crucial role in preserving and archiving petabytes of digital evidence for future investigations, as well as leading analysis and reporting on spoliation matters. Over the course of my tenure, I completed hundreds of digital forensic investigations, gaining proficiency across a wide range of scenarios and challenges.
