As the Superintendent of Millwood Public Schools, I lead a team of dedicated educators and staff who are committed to providing quality education and support to over 1,200 students in a diverse and low-income community. With my Ed.D. in Education Administration and Curriculum Supervision, I oversee the development and implementation of innovative and rigorous curricula, as well as the evaluation and improvement of academic performance, student engagement, and teacher effectiveness. I also collaborate with various stakeholders, including parents, board members, community partners, and state and federal agencies, to secure funding, resources, and partnerships that enhance the learning environment and opportunities for our students. In my previous role as the Sr. Director of Early Childhood Programs at Community Action Project, I managed the operations and outcomes of multiple programs serving over 2,000 children and families in Tulsa County. I leveraged my skills in staff development, classroom management, and grant writing to ensure compliance, quality, and sustainability of the programs. I am passionate about empowering students and educators to reach their full potential, and I strive to create a culture of excellence, equity, and collaboration in every organization I serve.
