I am an enthusiastic and dedicated higher education professional with a strong passion for curriculum development, program and project management, and facilitating impactful workshops that empower students for success in postsecondary education. Currently, I serve as a Community Workshop Facilitator at Empowerly, where I develop customized educational content based on community feedback and lead both in-person and virtual workshops across the Los Angeles Public Library system.In this role, I thrive on creating engaging learning experiences, overseeing facilitator management, and ensuring the seamless execution of workshops. I’m responsible for substitute facilitator training, scheduling, and pay, while also collaborating with key stakeholders to continually refine our workshop content. Seeing the direct impact our programs have on students, families, and communities as they navigate the complexities of higher education is incredibly rewarding.As I take on these new responsibilities, I am excited to explore further opportunities in curriculum design, team leadership, and data-driven initiatives that can enhance student development and community engagement. With a growing interest in working with startups and managing private partnerships, I’m eager to embrace new challenges that allow me to leverage my diverse background in community outreach, student affairs, and admissions.
