Robotics Manufacturing Technician
CurrentMechanical: - Assemble and maintain servo-powered systems and multi-axis robotics. - Design and fabricate test equipment, wire harnesses, and electrical panels using SolidWorks and RapidHarness. - Calibrate systems by adjusting belt tensions and accounting for manufacturing tolerance ranges to ensure optimal performance.Electrical: - Wire High and Low-Voltage systems, set up Serial Device Servers, PLC configurations, and network systems (Portainer/Docker). - Troubleshoot system hardware using schematics and diagnostic tools.Software: - Develop and execute hardware testing procedures using C++, Python, and Robot Framework. - Provision network systems for remote deployment and lifecycle testing.Collaborate across software, electrical, and mechanical teams to improve manufacturing processes.Train new hires in production roles and lead efforts in generating BOMs and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Projects: - Factory Test Stations: Designed and implemented production test stations with motion libraries in C++ and integrated servo motors for manufacturing validation. - System Friction Force Analysis: Developed test rigs for mechanical cost analysis and system behavior, leveraging Python for data analysis and visualization.- Automotive Experience: Engine replacements, diagnostics, and use of custom 3D-printed components for upgrades and modifications.
