Project Manager with the Aerospace Product Support Engineering group.I've been a Project Manager for dozens of projects at a time, spanning from corrosion on ground equipment to fuel desulfurization to a wheel chock redesign to the repair of specialized antennas. In doing so, I have worked with all 8 divisions at UDRI, at various points in different projects. I have performed testing for experimental projects, reporting, technical writing, and proofreading for all projects that I have been a part of, proposals for new work that we have discovered, and business development efforts across not only government customers but also industry customers. I have shepherded multi-million dollar projects to completion on time and under budget with small teams spanning multiple divisions and subcontracts. I have provided specialized training in Microsoft Project for other Project Managers, from the creation of the IMP through the completion of the project. I was a member of the Enterprise Networking for Research Growth (ENRG) program in 2020-2021, investigating ways in which we could increase UDRI's efforts at Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. This included Institute-wide surveys, focus groups, multiple conversations with leadership, and significant problem solving. I am also UDRI's point person for OTAs, sorting through the dozen OTAs that we are a member of for potential business opportunities and partners, and then working with other divisions to put together strong proposals.

I reviewed and edited a ~600+ page program description report that spanned over 10 years. I organized a two-day workshop of 100+ papers and presentations with over 300 attendees. I wrote and edited papers and reports in both Microsoft Word and LaTeX. I wrote, reviewed, and edited various meeting minutes on technical areas. I spearheaded the creation of the onboarding program from the ground up.

I tested individual product samples from both shifts, using multiple test processes (sink/float, burn test, patty test, melt flow index, etc.) to ensure conformity and a high-quality product. In the first month, I cut down on shipped contaminated product by approximately 60%, reducing our rejection rate dramatically. By implementing real-time quality control measures, the rejection rate further plummeted. I also inspected, identified, organized, and oversaw all inbound and outbound material for the warehouse. I also worked closely with purchasing and sales to ensure that quality material was coming in, and that any nonconforming materials (fiberglass-laden pallets, boxes with multiple types of plastic, products that we won't run, etc.) were refunded from our purchase price. I reconciled inbound inventory against invoiced amounts, and ensured that all inbound material was properly labeled and inventoried.

I supervised first shift associates while assisting them in production acitivites to meet and exceed continuously rising weekly production quotas, while also handling the shipping/receiving duties and maintaining an organized warehouse. I scheduled and executed maintenance on both the shredder and granulator on a biweekly basis, as well as daily and monthly inspections. I also wrote many of the standard operating procedures for the company.

I created run rates and tracked certain aspects of finance for given projects, tying these into created presentations for certain undertakings. I then met with different functional areas and worked out proposed time tables to help create project plans.I also audited some reports from consultant firms, and reconciled billed consultant hours with the budget. I have been a driving force behind ensuring that international deployment of new programs/processes goes smoothly and according to schedule.
