Chris is a seasoned renewable energy executive with over 22 years of experience at Vestas where he has led various commercial functions across Wind Turbine Sales, Service Sales, and Development. Throughout his career, he has played pivotal roles in the growth of many of Vestas' business units. Notably, in 2016, Chris spearheaded the establishment of Steelhead Americas, Vestas' first regional project development business unit, designed to unlock new renewable energy markets across North America. To date, Steelhead has contributed to the development of over 3,000 MW of wind projects, currently in construction or operation, and has supported Vestas in securing 3,700 MW of North American turbine orders. Today, Steelhead maintains a project pipeline of over 5,000 MW, primarily of wind assets and limited solar and storage assets. The team consists of 50+ employees across the United States and Canada. Throughout his career, Chris has consistently demonstrated an ability to develop innovative solutions in complex environments to meet the ever-evolving demands of the renewable energy industry. His experience ranges from Development, M&A, Turbine Sales, Sales Operations and Strategy, Service Sales, and Account Management.
