Adam is an environmental consultant interested in the intersection between finance, engineering, and sustainability. He works with clients at both the facility and corporate level to help manage their environmental needs, particularly as it relates to air quality and climate change strategy.In the climate change advisory practice, he has worked on a variety of projects to help clients meet their ESG goals. Projects types have been varied and include GHG reporting/verification, Life Cycle Analysis (LCA), carbon footprinting, climate-related risks (particularly for physical climate risks in relation to TCFD), and organizational Carbon Neutral/Net Zero plans.In the air quality practice, he assists clients in managing their environmental regulatory needs as it relates to air emissions. He is well-versed in delivering air permitting projects, including projects steps such as the preparation of emissions inventories, completion of air dispersion modelling (using CALPUFF/AERMOD), and engagement in the public consultation process. He also advises and assists clients on other environmental needs including negotiation with regulatory agencies, ongoing permit maintenance, procurement of air pollution control equipment, public complaints, emission source sampling, etc.In his spare time, he enjoys reading up on what his friends at the FOMC have been up to, looking at the narrative and numbers behind company valuations, and being shocked by Canadian real estate numbers. He also likes to be outside (in the rain or shine like a true Vancouverite)—playing and coaching field hockey, running, cycling up and down hills, skiing (mostly down hills), and hiking (mostly up hills).
