Synlait is a young, pioneering New Zealand-based Milk Nutrition Company.From the implementation of Synlait’s new HRIS system (Oracle), I played an integral role in ensuring that the Oracle Recruitment Cloud ran smoothly by testing the system, flagging issues and working towards solutions together, and optimizing workflows and processes. I worked for the Australian branch at the Sydney Support Office with 11.000 people working at 500+ locations nationwide.Within Compass Group Australia I worked on a project focussing on optimizing the tools and processes to improve the Payroll and Recruitment systems in accordance with Australian government, state and industry laws and legislation. Personally, I was responsible for ensuring all employees were either terminated correctly and in time (if required) or coded accordingly by generating the reports, following up with sites and managers and guiding, coaching and educating managers on the correct (separation) procedures.Biggest achievement:Getting the list with ex-employees still pending termination down from 500 to 15 while improving my business English and Microsoft Excel skills and mastering Australian government, state and industry laws and legislation knowledge, specifically regarding separations.Core responsibilities:• Generating the report with employees pending termination and monitoring the progress fortnightly by using advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PIVOT etc)• Contacting and following up with Site, Area or General Managers to ensure employees are terminated correctly by guiding, educating and coaching the managers on the correct separation procedures• Identifying process issues and initiate and implement solutions in collaboration with the concerning departments.
