As the manager of both the pricing and procurement groups I developed and implemented company wide pricing and procurement strategies, objectives, and guidelines driving strategic logistic initiatives resulting in a 7.4% increase in the bid conversion rate, a 20% increase in the ad-hoc conversion rate, industry leading profit margins, and a 62% increase in the size of the contract carrier network. I also routinely conducted extensive analysis on procurement costs, market demand, capacity shortages, and freight densities and was solely responsible for executing bids, contracts, and ad-hoc pricing proposals for all high end accounts.

Joining the organization to develop a new business segment, I successfully developed and launched the truckload brokerage operations which increased the company annual revenue objective by 15% and changed the service offerings from a mainly freight forwarding and warehousing focus to encompass the full suite of transportation services.

I orchestrated the collaboration between sales, operations, and management and controlled multiple freight management projects while delivering operational excellence in the launch of a new transportation management office. I continuously lead the office in both revenue and profit and was the main contributor for an increase in monthly revenue from 50 thousand to over a Million in less than 9 months without adding personnel.

I was solely responsible for all operations of the branch as an independent subsidiary. Other responsibilities included business development, contract negotiation and implementation, capacity generation, vendor performance management, carrier qualification, and office financials.

I was responsible for the entire life cycle of the freight movement from business development, pricing, set up, and operational execution all the way to collecting payment and delivering performance metrics.
