Have you ever met someone with whom you’ve been connected for most of your life? That’s me. Networking and meeting new people is a passion of mine. Building relationships has opened many doors for me. I would say, I excel at this. This is why my career has taken me down a path of working in people-centric industries. It began over 30 years ago with banking, insurance, and investing – all fields that require you to work directly with people. However, after several years of helping grow portfolios and aiding companies with their insurance offerings; I realized that I wanted to help invest in people. I then sought out a career in human resources. Ideal right? Sort of. I did learn about working with small to medium to large businesses and all the details involved with the ABCs and C2 of companies (A=Administration, B=Benefits, C=Compliance, and C2=Culture).Covid-19 was a wake-up call. I wanted to hang my own shingle. And so, I did…with next to no experience in the recruitment industry whatsoever. This is how I stand apart from others in my field. And within the first two years, I was able to match nearly twenty clients who are still employed at those companies today. This was my true calling. I like working with businesses and helping them fulfill their employment needs. On the flip side, I enjoy working with individuals to find their ideal careers. And it dawned on me. I like to matchmake companies and employees alike. It’s not one-sided. It’s not just me matching a company with a candidate. It’s me, the company, AND the candidate, working in harmony with each other for the ideal placement. My job is to find the RIGHT person for the RIGHT position. Now that I’ve been in the talent acquisition space for over three years; I realized that candidates and companies alike have approached me for specific niche industries. Specifically, mid-to-high level: healthcare (and FQHC), financial and banking, sales, and the non-profit space. I have branched out focusing on interim staffing (consulting), temp-to-perm, direct placement, and career coaching.I believe in the KLT model (feel free to ask me what that means). I utilize this model in all facets of my life from close friendships to new business. It’s the cornerstone of any good relationship. Staffing Together is deeply rooted in this model and its successful understanding is what has driven the success and longevity of our placements. As I said, I’m a people person.
