Kim is considered an industry pioneer on the Jumpstart Our Business Startups Act, 2012, an author of “Peer-to-Peer Lending and Equity Crowdfunding: A Guide to the New Capital Markets for Job Creators, Investors and Entrepreneurs,” (©2018 ABC-CLIO - Praeger); an Adjunct Professor at the City College of New York since the Fall 2015 teaching a class on Entrepreneurship: Women and Diversity in the Economics department that is cross listed with Women Studies and Black Studies programs. Kim's work has helped to influence and shape the final rules for the Jumpstart Our Business Startups Act 2012, being cited over 100 times in the final rules for Titles III and IV. She also contributed to the securities based crowdfunding frameworks adopted by Canada, Taiwan and the European Commission’s green paper. Kim has been an advocate, and lobbyist on behalf of the securities based crowdfunding industry (equity and debt) working alongside other industry thought leaders since 2012 with the Securities and Exchange Commission, FINRA, the European Commission, and several other leading international organizations for small - emerging companies to allow capital formation using online digital platforms for securities-based crowdfunding while ensuring investor protections.She is a Board Member of the City College Fund, a Board Member of the City College Center for the Performing Arts, and Board of Advisor Member of the Zahn Innovation Center. Independent Consultant and Advisor. Responsible for Four (4) Major Projects Project 1Responsible for the divestiture of Butterfield's Fund Services business to 3i Venture Capital. After the close, the role changed to creating the strategic and implementation plan to merge Butterfield Fund Services with Fulcrum, creating Butterfield Fulcrum Fund Services a $100 billion Fund Administrator. Consolidated corporate, finance, technology infrastructure, processes and staff to create one global corporate operating structure (front to back) as pursuant the terms of the agreement.Project 2Consolidated five jurisdictions Corporate and Personal Trust divisions into one operating model. This included replacing technology (used Touchstone a Jersey-based company), processes and day-to-day operations. Project 3Served as part of the team for the $500+ million raise.Project 4Served as the Secretary to the Governance Board and was the appointed as the liaison to the Bermuda government on behalf of the Bank.

Five projects during this period.Project 1 - Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) - working as lead consultant, created the first framework for the change management controls program for technology systems. Project 2 - Basel II (Pillar I) - led the program, that documented all of the processes required to capture capital reserve thresholds for the bank. Implemented phase 1.Project 3 - Modelware - lead the program manager for the initiative to create an equity valuation platform called Modelware. This initiative was an subsequently canceled and the role shifted to spinning down the unit of 250+ people globally.Project 4 - Market Data Company - led the program that developed and implemented 36 derivatives exchanges globally (e.g, Dubai exchange).

1. Consolidated the Payroll and Benefit Services operations of Chase, Manufacturer Hanover and Chemical Bank by developing overlap models, working alongside Kwasha Lipton and Mercer.2. Consolidated Cash Management and Treasury Solution platforms for 3000 large, medium and small corporate clients for Chase across Chemical Bank and Manufacturer Hanover, while developing the requirements for the first online banking system ChaseLink.
